Bob was born in 1954 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hammersmith and lived in London until he was seven years old when his family moved to Southend. After leaving school he studied at Art college until1972.
On leaving college Bob formed a rock band called Fancy. The line up comprised Nigel Benjamin on lead vocals, Phil Mitchell on bass Chris Holibon on drums and Bob on guitar. Fancy made one record Starlord which was released by an independent label and sold 1200 copies in the Southend area. Bob left the band in July 1974 to join Angel.
After Angel split up Bob spent a year in London before joining up with Brian for a short time. He then went on to join Love Affair and stayed with them for about eight years. On March 15th 1983 Bob moved to Los Angeles California where he still lives.
After playing with various bands in L.A. Bob went ‘back to school’ and gained a degree in Computer Graphics. In 1994 he formed the blues band Slowburn releasing a C.D. Burn & Learn. In 2004 he formed his current band Cherry & The Bulldogs.
