In the years before Angel, band members had played in various groups. Some names feature in several line ups and there are curious, if somewhat obscure, connections that relate the individual members of Angel long before 1974. For example Keith ‘Budgie' Radford the original singer in Pebbles back in 1966 turns up again in 1970 as front-man with Trampus. Though not supported by photographs there is evidence of other links in the band-members' biographies. The photos below give an insight into the pre-history of Angel.
