Glam-rock band Angel, was a concept from Andy Scott and Mick Tucker from Sweet. The band was formed in 1974 from the members of Pebbles, at a time when bands such as Slade, Sweet, Mud and Suzi Quatro were dominating the European charts.

In 1974 Angel released 2 singles through Polydor on its Cube label. Both compositions were written by Andy Scott who co-produced them with Mick Tucker. Good Time Fanny (BUG 41) was recorded at Audio International and released on May
24th
. Little Boy Blue (BUG 51) was recorded at Essex Studios and released on October 24th. The B sides were both written by Angel; Who D'ya Think You're Fooling (B. Johnson, M. Kemp, S. Rickard, J. Ryan) Tragedy Queen (Banasiak, Johnson, Kemp, Rickard). Both singles, in original vinyl format, are now considered collectors' items.
